I am a bit of a Gypsy at Heart. I left my home in Bühl, Germany when I was 17 and came out to Australia on a boat via the Azores-Ponta Delgata,Antilles Antigua,Panama,Galapagos Island, Tahiti,New Zealand and then Sydney Australia. I love to explore the unknown until it becomes familiar. To get over my vertigo, I learned to fly aeroplanes and aerobatics: stall-turns,loops,barrelrolls,flick-rolls, falling leafes, stalls and spins- when we stall the airplane,auto- rotate and spin for 10 turns and then recover out of the dive 2500 feet lower in altitude. I used to have nightmares about falling off a cliff, but since I fly aerobatics, those nightmares have gone. I like looking up,rather than looking down, but at the same time I am a realist and usually see things for what they are. The rest I haven't quite figured out yet. But this quote below probably sums me up quite well: "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." (Oscar Wilde)
